What missed calls actually cost a Sydney plumber
Not a pitch deck. Just the numbers most owners feel in their gut but rarely write down.
Start with two numbers only you know: how many calls ring out each week while you're on the tools, and what a typical job is worth to you. Multiply them, then apply the share you think would have booked. Use your own figures rather than an industry average: the result is an estimate of the work at risk each week.
Over a year — even allowing that not every missed call was a sure job — it can add up to work you did not get to quote. The painful part: you only hear about the jobs that left a voicemail. Some of the rest may have hired someone else without calling back.
Sydney makes this worse, not better. Storm weeks, strata panels, and after-hours emergencies all hit the same mobile. A second line with a person on it costs salary. A voicemail box costs jobs.
The fix isn't “hire a call centre.” It's letting NeuCalla answer, gather the job details and, when you have set it up, book a time or send a deposit link before you hang up.
